As part of FA 381, Intro to Photography, we will be focusing on 3 different themes throughout the semester. During weeks 1-5, while learning basic camera fundamentals and formal / compositional techniques, we will also be focusing on the theme of place. Assignments include a semester long study of a specific place, a "photo" treasure hunt, and more.
Art 21 currently allows access to all seasons including Sally Mann's segment about the importance of place in her photographic works.
